| MULTIHULL
RENDEVOUS 2003 and the CRUSING CUP |
| 2003 fostered
a lot of changes for the better, in competitive sailing, Whitsundays
style. For the 1st time ever Abel
Point and Whitsunday
Sailing Club joined forces to support these
events in an endeavour to bring back the original spirit
of competitive cruising in the Whitsundays. |

The Multihull
Rendevous which as the name implies,
is exclusive to Multihulls, and this event
is sponsored by Emultihulls
Yacht Brokerage (suppliers of the trophies)
and Carlton Midstrength cheap
beer and meals. |
 |
The Cruising Cup (for Monos),
sponsored by Queensland
Marine Services and Windskills,
is held over the Saturday and Sunday in conjunction
with the Multihull Rendevous,
and the Monday (layday) saw a great competition between
all sailors showing their skills in the Sabot Sailing
competition.
